The new edition retains the tried-and-tested structure of the lessons but has been fully updated. New features include an English-Thai vocabulary to go alongside the existing Thai-English vocabulary and a `taking it further` section directing the reader to further sources of Thai - websites, books, etc. The language notes have been expanded and tightened, the exercises improved and more reading material in Thai script added.
